Tiko TouchSystems Co. Ltd Expands Elo Presence

Elo TouchSystems today announced that Tiko TouchSystems Co. Ltd. has been signed to distribute Elo’s touch products in the People’s Republic of China. The agreement was signed through WinMate Tex, Elo’s master distributor for Asia.

“The new agreement with Tiko continues Elo’s expansion into worldwide markets,” said Don Armstrong, director of strategic business development. “It places Elo in a key position to sell products into the rapidly growing economy of the world’s largest country.”

Tiko TouchSystems is a joint venture company that merges Taikoo, a Chinese distributor, with Beijing Computer Factory No. 1, China’s leading manufacturer of computer equipment.

“The agreement with Tiko TouchSystems provides Elo with a strong sales channel to government agencies, which rely on public use computers to deliver information regarding services ranging from transportation schedules to medical resources,” said Macros Chen, president of WinMate Tex. “We expect to be a strong presence in this market.”
